Aquaboulevard –
Europe’s largest urban water park!
Located in the heart of Paris, Aquaboulevard is Europe’s largest urban water parks. The facility welcomes a varied customer base all year round with peak summer attendance reaching up to 2,000 visitors per day.

Aquatic Center Description:
- 3 technical rooms / 20 sand filters
- 2 wave pools (water temperature maintained at 29°C)
- 11 waterslides
- 1 outdoor summer pool (800 m³) with a beach area
- 6 spas (including 3 whirlpools/hot tubs) + hammam
- 1 mangrove zone with dedicated filtration
In total, 6,000 m³ of water require continuous treatment.
Key Challenges
The primary objective is to guarantee flawless and consistent water quality while ensuring the safety of both visitors and staff, in a facility open 7 days a week that cannot afford any operational downtime.
For many years, water treatment relied on the use of stabilized chlorine tablets, which presented the following limitations:
– Disinfection inconsistency: Difficulty in maintaining homogeneous disinfection levels during peak attendance periods.
– Organic load management: Complex water chemistry management due to high organic loading.
– Operational burden: Significantly increased operational and maintenance constraints.
Faced with these challenges, the technical teams sought a higher-performing and more secure solution.
The solutions
Following a successful initial trial, Aquaboulevard opted for the full deployment of the HTH EASIFLO system in 2015, combined with calcium hypochlorite briquettes to produce a consistent chlorine solution.
Key selection criteria:
– Technical support
– Operational safety
– Regulatory compliance
– Ease of use
– Durability
The teams quickly adopted the solution, benefiting from a seamless transition and a highly satisfactory level of support.
